8This 8ft Testar Trampoline comes complete with a full safety enclosure, a toolkit for assembling and maintaining the trampoline and a custom fitting trampoline cover to keep it safe from the rain. The frame is weld free and very strong. Its tubing is 38mm x 1.5mm and comes with a 5 year guarantee. It is 8ft in diameter and 2.5ft high. It supports a maximum user weight of 100KG (16 stone). It also comes with a 12 month guarantee on the springs, beds, pads and enclosure. Assembly time is quoted at less than an hour but it may take up to 1.5 hours for your average user. The mat is made from a polypropylene.
This is a tough and durable trampoline that comes with everything you need. Being 8ft, it will fit in most gardens with ease and is big enough to allow a few kids to play on at once. It is sturdy and the springs are top quality, as they are zinc plated and heat tempered. The assembly is easy even though our assembly time was a little over that of the manufacturers guidelines. The instructions are clear and could probably be assembled with just one person, although that would obviously increase the build time. Once assembled I was very pleased with how sturdy the structure was. I tested it before letting my children on (for safety reasons of course). I am 14 stone and it took my weight with ease. I was more than happy to let my children play on it. The padding around the trampoline was more than adequate, leaving no bare frame or springs exposed for my children to hurt themselves. I was also very pleased at the price. I bought it from Amazon for £140 and it arrived in a few days. It is one of the cheaper trampolines but the quality is so high. I wouldn't say it is quite up to the quality of a professional rectangle trampoline, but it is impressive for it's price.
As for negative points, there are few. The trampoline is a little small as it is only 8ft in diameter. I think I would have been better with at 10ft trampoline but this is my personal preference as I have the space to spare. The trampoline doesn't come with a ladder. This is no problem as my kids are capable of climbing onto it but for people with smaller kids this could be an issue.
Overall I am extremely happy with the trampoline and would hesitate to recommend this to any of my friends/family/neighbours.
